With over 25 years of experience in fitness and performance training. I have a passion for health and fitness as well as a desire to help you achieve your goals. I was an active kid and competed in track, basketball, wrestling, and boxing. This exposed me to many different training styles and methods. I didn't know it at the time but that exposure would help shape my training approach and style. I'm here to listen, teach, motivate and guide you to were you want to be!
A few of my specialties are movement and core development, athlete performance enhancement, weight loss and/or muscle gain, balance and stability improvement, injury prevention and most importantly I am an expert in putting you first.

Hey there! My name is Westin Birks. I am 20 years old and I have been an NASM certified personal trainer for over a year. I became a personal trainer because I am very passionate about fitness and helping others reach their goals and find motivation within themselves.
Along with personal training, I lead Burst Athletic Training at The Gym Tracy, an athletic program that caters to all sports and all ages to build strength, speed, and power. I believe that athleticism carries over from sport to sport, and that this supplemental work can be extremely beneficial to someone who wants to be a well rounded athlete.
What's good everybody! My name is Isaiah Johnson, and I am one of the trainers as well as the boot camp instructor here at The Gym Tracy. Being a former athlete has definitely gravitated me to the fitness industry. After high school, I played football and studied at City College of San Francisco before earning a football scholarship to Rutgers University in New Jersey. I love competing and doing my best to win, whether that's against an opponent or myself. My experience in college also introduced me to a diverse group of people which might be my favorite aspect of training. There's nothing like working with people and helping them reach their goals! Whether you're looking to loser weight, gain weight, bulk up, or tone up, anything is possible with the right work ethic and support!
Hi! I'm Emily, a passionate yoga instructor with almost twenty years of professional experience designing and leading mixed level classes for corporations, private health clubs, and independent yoga studios. I enjoy helping others reduce their stress, improve their health, and heal from injury and pain. I believe yoga is more than just physical exercise; it's a transformative practice that integrates our bodies' physical, mental, and emotional responses to help us arrive at deeper levels of relaxation and awareness. My training and background are in the Ashtanga and Iyengar methods, with concentrations in Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Prenatal / Postnatal Yoga, Yoga for Kids, Mommy & Me Yoga, and Mindfulness Meditation.
As a former boutique studio owner, we specialized in weekly yoga and mindfulness classes, monthly workshops, and seasonal community events. My studio has been featured on Good Morning Sacramento and has facilitated several donation-based programs that helped raise money for local charities that benefit and support women and children within the community.
I'm a single parent to two amazing twin sisters and a proud pet owner of two rescue pups. On the weekends, you can find me sleeping in and enjoying leisurely mornings with my kids, spending time in nature, or working in the garden.
